We have an amazing team of volunteers who want to help children be safe in our community This program could have left the community many years ago, but we have many volunteers who would not let this happen.
Safety Town was created in Northern Ohio in 1937 in Mansfield, OH A child was killed while she was crossing the street. After one year of teaching the original traffic program, I felt it was important to include all areas of safety into a comprehensive Safety Town Program.

Learn to Swim was changed when American Red Cross released the program from their organization. We have many volunteers who are very compassionate about water safety and teaching children about water safety as well as learning to swim. We have many of our swimmers who have learned from our program to be lifeguards or on the swim team for their schools.
Our mission is to teach safety to children before entering kindergarten to learn about safety in and around their homes.
Our mission is to teach swimming to children so they are not afraid of water or can save a life or themself from a water accident.
We love our children, so feel free to contact us!
